Our church is in the middle of the village of Natland, on the east side of the village green. The church main door is situated on the side of the church. There is a step free tarmac path to the entrance of the church from the Village Green. We have a ramped entrance to the main door.
There is no church car park therefore parking is around the Green and on the road to the side of the church. The entrance from the side road is up steps.
There is are handrails on the left-hand side of the steps.
Although St Mark’s church is a Grade II* listed building we welcome everyone whatever your age or need.
The main aisle has two steps up to the altar rail, there are handrails on either side of the steps. Handrails are located on all the other steps inside the church. A portable ramp is available for easier access into the vestry.
We are happy to bring Communion down to the congregation. Gluten free Communion wafers are available. The Holy Communion wine that we use is Fairtrade, and we use Fairtrade tea and coffee in our refreshments.
Refreshments are served in the church near the organ on a Sunday and in the vestry on a Thursday.
If you feel you need to walk around during the service, there is space at the back of the church near the font, please feel free to do so.
We have a sound system with a hearing loop. Large print hymn books and orders of service are available. We welcome all assistance dogs.

We have a step free toilet that has handrails fitted to help you and a window sill for your use.
There is a Crèche area in church and if needed there are additional toys in the vestry. We also have a drop-down baby changing table in the toilet.
